Sonia Miranda Rivas, a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 56. Born on May 24, 1970, Sonia was a strong, beautiful, caring, and vibrant woman whose greatest joy was making the people she loved happy.

Sonia was a devoted mother to her three children, Daniel Louis Villarreal,Gina Renae Rivas, and Jason Julian Guerin. Her love for her children was unconditional, and she always wanted to see them happy. She was also a loving grandmother to Jayda Villarreal, Dezmend Villarreal, Emelia Villarreal, Ezekiel Villarreal, Lorre Westfall, Lillyanna Westfall, and Legend Mario Rodriguez.

Sonia shared a special bond with her best friend and ex-husband, Mario Rivas. Their friendship and love were an important part of her life, and together they shared many memories that will never be forgotten.

Sonia was a strong and courageous woman who fought cancer with incredible strength, grace, and determination. Throughout her journey, she continued to be a source of love, strength, and inspiration to those around her. Her courage in the face of adversity will never be forgotten.

Though her time with us was not long enough, the love Sonia shared with her family will live on forever.
