Leslie Earl Clifton was born on December 11th, 1958 in Seminole, OK to the parents of Sam and Patsy Clifton. He grew up with his siblings, Steve, Mike, Sheri, and Linda, in Atoka, eventually moving back to Seminole.

 

 He graduated in Seminole with a Associates degree in history and worked various jobs involving wheat harvesting, oil fields, and a fiberglass factory. He later graduated at East Central University on May 4th, 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in history and moved with his wife, Rhea Stewart Clifton, to Dallas, TX in hopes to get a job as a teacher that didn't come through.

 

 Starting a new family with his wife and two sons, Patrick and Dylon Earl Clifton, he continue to work various jobs in Dallas including truck driving and house contracting until he was diagnosed with many illnesses, including cancer. Surviving treatment, he spent his many remaining years staying in touch with his siblings both in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as enjoying his hobbies of fishing and gardening.

 

His memory lives on with his loving wife Rhea Stewart Clifton of 36 years, his two sons Patrick and Dylon Earl Clifton, his brothers Steve and Mike, his sister Sheri Watters, his step-son Daniel Ryan, his step-daughter Calista McCracken Garcia, and his grandchildren Logan Ryan, Emery McCracken Garcia, and Rio Callan McCracken Garcia, whom he loved dearly.

 

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
