Elizabeth Scott Robinson
Elizabeth Scott Robinson, born September 14, 1964, went to join her Heavenly Father on June
10, 2025 after a job well-done in His service. Elizabeth was born and raised in Lake Providence,
Louisiana, before moving to Garland, Texas, where she met and married Charles Robinson.
Elizabeth and Charles adopted Charquantis when he was 9 months old in 2000. Charquantis was
his mother’s delight, and they spoke daily even after Charquantis moved to Oklahoma.
Elizabeth spent her life loving and serving with a strong work ethic. She began her career at
Parkland Hospital in the administration department, followed by her many years at Wells Fargo
Bank, where she worked in the vault, processing money for the money trucks.
Elizabeth’s heart was focused on loving her Lord, her family and friends. In fact, if you were
Elizabeth’s friend, she thought of you as family. While Elizabeth may not have had earthly
riches, she was wealthy beyond measure in love. Elizabeth generously gave her whole self in
caring for others, caring for her ailing husband until his death in 2023 and then volunteering at
Saturn Road Church of Christ in various ministries. Two ministries that meant so very much to
Elizabeth were the Special Needs ministry and the Foster Closet ministry.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Charles her parents Robert Patton and Rosie Lee, and her siblings, Denise, Glen, Maxine, Tommy
and June. She leaves behind on this earth her son Charquantis, her brother James (Uncle C),
her sister Linda, and multiple nieces and nephews, as well as her friends and church family.
Elizabeth Robinson’s Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Saturn Road Church
of Christ at 3030 Saturn Road in Garland, Texas. Family and friend visitation will be at Saturn
Road Church of Christ at 10:00 AM, followed by the Celebration of Elizabeth’s Life at 11:00 AM.
Internment will be at 2:30 PM at Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.
