Douglas Allen King

Douglas Allen King died June 10 from medical complications. Doug lived a life of
Family, Friends, Fun. Doug will be missed by many.
Doug worked and put himself through college earning a degree in Airline Mechanics.
He worked for the airlines for years and made friends. He then switched to being a chef
in several restaurants. Again making friends of the staff and customers. He created
special dishes that customers specifically requested. He also worked for the local radio
station doing the news and playing songs the listeners requested. Doug was so good
with people that the restaurant corporation made him a restaurant Manager. While
doing that he again put himself through college earning a degree in accounting. He
worked accounting and made more friends until retirement.
Doug made friends at the local church and fell in Love with his wife. Doug also
travelled and managed to make friends while visiting friends and family. Doug was
appointed Honorary Pirate on the Maine schooner that he sailed with for a week of
vacation.
Doug was also friends and support to many many indoor and outdoor cats. Doug will
be missed by many many cats, Friends, and Family.
