Con profundo amor y gratitud por su vida, despedimos a Amparo de Jesús Arango Restrepo, mujer ejemplar cuya existencia fue testimonio de servicio, fe y entrega.

Amparo nació hace 76 años en un hermoso rincón de Antioquia, Colombia. Como hija mayor de trece hermanos, desde muy joven se distinguió por su carácter firme, su espíritu responsable y su profunda vocación de cuidado hacia los demás, colaborando activamente en la educación y formación de sus hermanas.

Fue madre amorosa de tres hijas, a quienes dedicó su vida con generosidad, disciplina y ejemplo de virtud, lealtad y fortaleza. Su legado familiar se sostiene en los valores que sembró con amor constante y silencioso.

En su ejercicio profesional como gerontóloga, durante más de veintisiete años fue reconocida como un ser de luz, acompañando con entrega a ancianos, enfermos y familias que encontraron en ella consuelo, orientación y esperanza. Su vocación de servicio no fue solo una profesión, sino una forma de vivir. Hasta el último momento de su vida brindó cuidado y atención a quienes la necesitaban.

Quienes la conocieron la recuerdan como una mujer alegre, auténtica, sencilla y profundamente sincera. Dondequiera que iba dejaba huellas de bondad, llenando los espacios con historias entrañables, trabajo generoso y una inagotable disposición para ayudar. Amaba la jardinería, el hogar y el cuidado de los enfermos, labores que ejerció con dedicación hasta su último aliento.

Fue abuela amorosa, consejera prudente y presencia luminosa para sus nietos, a quienes entregó cariño, guía y ternura. Mujer pragmática, optimista y profundamente creyente, vivió con devoción a Jesús y a la Virgen, recordándonos siempre que el cielo puede comenzar aquí cuando se vive en la gracia de Dios.

Hoy su ausencia duele, pero su legado permanece. Su vida fue servicio. Su memoria es bendición. Su amor, herencia eterna.

As the eldest of thirteen siblings, from a very young age she distinguished herself by her strong character, her responsible spirit, and her deep vocation for caring for others, actively collaborating in the education and formation of her sisters.

She was a loving mother to three daughters, to whom she dedicated her life with generosity, discipline, and an example of virtue, loyalty, and strength. Her family legacy rests on the values ​​she instilled with constant and quiet love.

In her professional practice as a gerontologist, for more than twenty-seven years she was recognized as a beacon of light, devotedly accompanying the elderly, the sick, and their families who found in her comfort, guidance, and hope. Her vocation of service was not just a profession, but a way of life. Until the very last moment of her life, she provided care and attention to those who needed it.

Those who knew her remember her as a cheerful, genuine, down-to-earth, and deeply sincere woman. Wherever she went, she left a trail of kindness, filling spaces with heartwarming stories, generous work, and an inexhaustible willingness to help. She loved gardening, her home, and caring for the sick, tasks she performed with dedication until her very last breath.

She was a loving grandmother, a wise counselor, and a radiant presence for her grandchildren, to whom she gave affection, guidance, and tenderness. A pragmatic, optimistic, and deeply religious woman, she lived with devotion to Jesus and the Virgin Mary, always reminding us that heaven can begin here when we live in God's grace.

Today his absence is painful, but his legacy remains. His life was one of service. His memory is a blessing. His love, an eternal inheritance.
