In Loving Memory of My Husband
“Dad”
PSALMS 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in sprit”.
It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved husband. He was a devoted
partner and the best father. Our Dad, Paul, was a force — hard-working, driven, determined and with an
ability to connect with everyone he met. He was the family’s rock. He loved us, we were his home. He
poured love into us every day.
Paul Randall Terry, 46, left this world suddenly on Thursday evening April 2,2026.
Paul was born on January 17,1980 in Dallas, TX, the son of William Graydon Terry and Ella Marie
Commons. He grew up all around Texas, in small towns and big ones. He became independent at 15
years old where he developed a strong work ethic after working many jobs to survive. One notable job
he enjoyed was being a cook. He went on to pursue a career in cabinetry, to which he dedicated himself
for 27 years. After many years he earned the ability to run the shop formerly Walden Cabinets, as Terry
Cabinets with his wife and son.
Paul was a pillar of strength and support for his family. He was a loving husband to Maria for 27 years.
Together, they were raising their children: Zachary, Sarah and Sophia. He was a devoted father, always
there to offer guidance, love, jokes and a hearty laugh. He cherished family gatherings. His presence at
holidays and celebrations brought warmth and joy and ruckus to those around him.
Paul had many passions in life. Just to name a few like hunting, old cars, American and Texas History,
Dallas Cowboys, gardening with his wife, grilling, reading, music, telling the truth no bullshit,
affectionally wooing Maria. He was known for his intelligence, nobility, trustworthiness, toughness,
humor, determination and integrity.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, his children Zachary, Sarah and Sophia. He is also survived by his
mother, Marie, siblings Courtney, Blair, Marcus and Sean. Extending to many nieces, nephews, aunts,
uncles, cousins, in-law family and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service to celebrate Paul’s life will be held on April 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., at Eastgate Funeral
Home, located at 12973 LBJ Freeway, Garland, TX. Family and close family friends are invited to attend
and pay their respects. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Texas Parks
and Wildlife in his memory.
Rest in peace, dear father. Your memory will live on in our hearts forever.
"Life Without You"
Well hello baby, Tell me, How have you been?
We all have missed you, And the way you grin.
The day is necessary, Every now and then
For souls to move on, Given life back again
Fly on, Fly on, Fly on my friend
Go on, Go on and live again, Love again
Cause day after day, Night after night
Sittin' here singin', every, every minute
As the years go passin' by, by, by, by
A long look in the mirror, We come face to face
Wishin' our love we took for granted
A love we had yesterday, Cause Life Without You
All the love, you've passed our way
Angels have waited, for so long
Now they have their way
Take your place....

Maria and kids, I am deeply saddened about the death of your husband and your children’s Dad.. Paul was such a good man, husband, and father. And although I didn’t see him often, it was obvious he was a devoted family man. He was kind to everyone. I will always have memories of working alongside Paul in the school garden, happy memories. I know his death has left a void with all of you. My heart aches for all of you. Please know I am praying for all of you as you rebuild your lives without your Dad. Maria, hugs, God bless you all.
